2008 Volunteer information

Operation Blue Santa welcomes the help of all volunteers.  Individuals who wish to volunteer may drop in at their convenience during operation hours.   Because of limited space, groups of 10 or more need to call 220-BLUE (220-2583) or email us at bluesanta@ci.austin.tx.us in advance and reserve a time slot.  Due to the large volume of volunteers we request that you keep your group volunteer time to a maximum of 2 hours.  If you schedule a time slot and are unable to volunteer during that time, please contact Blue Santa to let us know as soon as possible.

An adult must accompany all youth under the age of 16.  Any group with youth under the age of 12 will need to have 1 adult per 3 youth.  If youth cannot drive and provide their own transportation, an adult must accompany them.

Please note this is a “working warehouse” be sure to wear appropriate comfortable clothing and shoes.

A designated break area with a drink vending machine and water will be available for volunteers. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks.
