2007 Volunteer information

Operation Blue Santa welcomes the help of all volunteers.  Individuals who wish to volunteer may drop in at their convenience during operation hours.   Because of limited space, groups of 10 or more need to call 974-4900 or email us at bluesanta@ci.austin.tx.us in advance and reserve a time slot.  Due to the large volume of volunteers we request that you keep your group volunteer time to a maximum of 2 hours.  If you schedule a time slot and are unable to volunteer during that time, please contact Blue Santa to let us know as soon as possible.

An adult must accompany all youth under the age of 16.  Any group with youth under the age of 12 will need to have 1 adult per 3 youth.  If youth cannot drive and provide their own transportation, an adult must accompany them at all times – no drop-offs.

Please be sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes, you will be in a warehouse. No sandals or open toed shoes.  Plan to lock your valuables in your car, we do not have a secure storage place.

A designated break area with a drink vending machine and water will be available for volunteers; you are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks.

Reminder to all Volunteers:
Prior to arriving to volunteer please call the Blue Santa Warehouse at 220-BLUE (220-2583) to ensure volunteer availability.

Blue Santa is located at 4101 S. Industrial Blvd, Suite 260.
